EDDIE TATTON - RISE

Touted by Guitarist Magazine as far back as 1999 as "one of the young British blues players to watch", Eddie picked up accolades for work with band Out of the Blue, with a dynamic style melding Robben Ford with the poise of Larry Carlton. When the band ended he branched out joining diverse artists such as Nightmares on Wax and Mozez from Zero 7, spending the next decade as a touring sideman. Approached by Stunted Records to put out a solo album, it was the catastrophe of the pandemic on the music industry that provided the space and time to write. After his partner of 20 years caught and recovered from the virus, Eddie kept the musical sketches he sent to her during her illness and worked them into songs. With vocal contributions from Mozez, Lynne Jackaman, James Manners and some of the best musicians in their field, he documented the year drawing inspiration from all his past influences, set in a landscape that nods to George Harrison in India, Laurel Canyon in 1969, but also the dark beauty of Massive Attack. It’s a unique, uplifting piece of work, heavily featuring slide guitar to take on the role of singer, cellist and string quartet.
The releases will be available for download and streaming from all major online digital stores via Shellshock / The Orchard (Sony) distribution and the physical album will be available in Digipak CD format. Additional details regarding the releases will be made available in the near future.

John Clay/Andy Wood ft Mike Garson
"We Are The Gods", the 4th track to be released from John Clays "Rusty Guitar" project is scheduled for worldwide release on Friday 23rd October, via all major online / digital outlets.
Written by John Clay ( guitars ) and Andy Wood ( vocals ), the track features the incredible piano work of none other than Mike Garson, the iconic legend who spent 40 plus years working with Bowie, as well as working with Trent Reznor/Nine Inch Nails and Billy Corgan/Smashing Pumpkins, amongst a multitude of others.
A longer version of the track, featuring an extended piano solo from Garson in the vein of his legendary Aladdin Sane piano work, will be included in the full "Rusty Guitar" album, which is scheduled for release early in 2021.

Ash Johnson - The Mad Ship
Scunthorpe based singer/songwriter Ash Johnson recently signed to Stunted Records for the worldwide release of his debut solo single and album. Recorded over the last 9 months, the album entitled "The Mad Ship" will be released in May 2018, preceded by a single of the title track on Monday March 12th 2018
Ash has been a key figure on the North Lincolnshire music scene for many years and is backed on this album by a number of musicians from across the county. All ten songs on the album are written by Ash who can only be described as a bizarre love child of the Manic Street Preachers,Tom Petty and Crowded House rolled into one, a unique blend of alt Rock and Indie with hooks galore.

THE HEADSHAKES - Playground of Happiness - Album Release Monday 16th Dec 2013
Stunted Records are pleased to announce the release of the debut album “Playground of Happiness” by The Headshakes on Monday 16th Dec available in Digital Download and Digipak CD formats.
The songs on the album are a kaleidoscope of imaginings which seem to have a flow of mutual intent, born out of avid reading and a vivid imagination on the part of singer, songwriter and lyricist Mick Walker.
“Poetry in song form seems to be a way of expression, more of a release, words build up inside and seem to be going nowhere, until it all makes some sort of sense and a song is born”.
Transcending the years with a mature confidence, “Playground of Happiness” has a fresh and contemporary sound with anthemic songs that will sit perfectly during a summer festival, or be equally at home in a small intimate venue, uplifting in places, but with a touch of melancholy in the lyrics…making for widespread appeal.

Heads up - we’re really pleased to have been joined by LA based rock / fusion guitarist PRASHANT ASWANI who has just released an incredible album of guitar artistry called Sonically Speaking.
“Sonically Speaking” shows Prashant Aswani to be a great player, writer and producer. Ten brilliant compositions and Prashants signature guitar playing make this third album his best yet. The new album features Rhonda Smith ( Jeff Beck, Prince ) on bass, and Joey Heredia ( Stevie Wonder, Tribal Tech and Steve Lukather ) on drums. His Indian roots shine through with the addition of Abhijit Bannerjee on tabla.
Prashant is also joined on the album by renowned guest soloists Brett Garsed and Rob Caggiano.
As a regular performer at the NAMM trade show in California, Prashant has already picked up endorsement deals with ESP ( who produce his signature guitars ), DiMarzio pickups, Dean Markley Strings, Maxon effect pedals and Spectraflex cables.
With both European and Asian tours being put together for 2011, people will soon be able to find out why Prashant is held in such high regard within the guitar fraternity.

The amazing self titled album from DOG ALMIGHTY will be released in the UK on Mon 23rd March 2009
DOG ALMIGHTY rose from the ashes of Norwegian band SPAN, who were previously signed to Universal Island, selling 55,000 records worldwide and pretty much touring the world non stop for 2 years before calling it a day in 2005.
In January 2006 Joff, Kim and Fred along with new singer Sindri formed their band, Dog Almighty. They experienced a creative explosion which turned into 13 kick-ass songs. When they wrote lyrics they sat down and discussed the topic they would write about for hours, before putting it into words. That way they can stand tall for every word and feeling about the topics that engage them. They then started building their studio where they've spent 100's of hours producing their album. And what an album it is - intelligent lyrics with songs that rock - throwing metal, punk and hardcore into the mix without losing sight of melody and dynamics.
Already released in Norway, every cover is hand made by the band. No bullshit. That means that if you buy the CD in the stores, your copy will have their fingerprints all over it, but there are only 1000 copies of this limited edition sleeve up for grabs so when it gets its UK release in March 2009 you will have to be quick !
