Biog / Info
Ten Seconds Of Chaos have been busy
hand-sculpting their sound from an already established prototype
in the confines of a secret location in Leeds. Their brand of
highly energetic, melodic rawk has been constantly evolving over
time; creating a breed of powerful choruses, foot-stomping rhythms,
passionate vocals, thunderous drums & driving bass-lines,
which all combine with reflective interludes.
A great number of influences have been thrown into
the sonic mixer, bands with passion, melody & energy have
all played their part, & there is something different about
this outcome; “…this band manage to make something
regularly done sound unique & interesting.” The results
of this can be best appreciated live in the high-octane, adrenaline-fuelled
shows, or by standing in front of your speakers, turning it up,
& letting it hit you like a wall of sound.
The last EP ‘On Second Thoughts’ was
entirely self-recorded and mixed by the band. With differing studio
recording outcomes in the past, the band feels this is way the
way forward for the time being, in producing the live, raw feel
they strive for. The EP was well received by numerous reviewers
& DJ’s, including Steve Lamaqc who played the track
‘Face The problem’ on his Radio 1 show. With many
new songs waiting to be unleashed, a new recording is imminent.
With past efforts earning TSOC a place at
the Carling Weekend Leeds Festival, the single-minded determination
towards a common goal, the openness to fresh ideas, the genuine
excitement & enthusiasm, and the ever-present creativity will
hopefully see the band reach their potential and let their genuine
voice be heard on a much larger scale.

Press
“Soaring rock music…the best surprise I have had
all year!”
Leedsmusicscene.co.uk (Apr 05)
“A master class in how melodic rawk should
be.”
Heathenangel.co.uk (June 05)
"Immediate and frantic riff-peddlers belting
out forceful sub three minute anger nuggets through gritted teeth…Tighter
than Jordan’s bra with more genuine content.“
Sandman Magazine (Sept 04)
“Passion and energy in every note, in
every scream, and in every word….if the neighbours weren’t
awake before, they sure are now!”
Studentguru.co.uk (June 05)
“It will be a crime against music and
probably humanity if these guys aren’t commanding the attention
of thousands at festivals everywhere within the next two years.”
Glasswerk.co.uk (Aug 05)
“The perfect mixture of intelligent, catchy
melodic musicianship with a huge dose of raw testicular fortitude
that packs a severe jaw dislocating punch. If Weezer, Biffy Clyro
and Slayer ended up having kids (don’t ask me how, probably
some sort of test tube related offspring), then TSOC would be
their rock & roll devil children hell-bent on getting us all
sweaty and giddy in the pit.”
Groovestealer.co.uk (July 05)
“Whether it be the pitch perfect vocals
or the complete and utter sonic whip lash inducing waveforms that
these guys produce you just can’t help but be impressed.”
Leedsmusicscene.co.uk (June 04)
“So jam packed with catches and hooks
that they should work for a Velcro company or something. It’s
big, loud stuff, full of blistering guitars, soaring vocals and
big, heavy drumming, not to mention the tunefulness .”
Sandman Magazine (May 05)
